I have use my skystar2 card with other programs and it works fine, but with sichbo pvr my video come out jerky, sound come fine . I have tried several settings with mpeg codecs and even tried different codec and rendered method but no luck. Please improve the MCE remote function and support.

Can you tell me which codecs are working smoothly in your other apps?

Also what type of content are you viewing, HD/SD/h264/mpeg2. Also which operating system, and amount of free disk space on your recording drive (usually c:\). Also what version of sichbopvr are you running? a new one's just gone up v1.0.1.19. You can update via settings.

We've had h.264 @ 1080p in SichboPVR viewing the clear HDTheatre channel feed on 72w "acceptably" (high CPU from no dxva) on a crappy old MacBook Black w/ 512mb with GMA Intel integrated video, WinXP, VMR7 renderer.

I won't be able to improve MCE remote support without a device on hand unfortunately. Assuming you've selected the MCE Remote option under Settings > Preferences, you should already be getting most of the keys working?

Thanks for the info,

Yeah your specs should definitely be running sichbopvr completely flawlessly with no problems at all. Your machine is way more awesome than anything I've ever tested on, and everything (hd included, even though you're trying sd) seems smooth with all of those decoders...

It's possible your "preferred decoder" isn't the one actually getting used during playback.. the only way you could verify though is by using GraphEdit to attach to the graph and see what's actually going on during your playback. Maybe also give v1.0.1.29 a try, it might help nail down the correct decoder selection.
