Crash

Hi not sure if its a bug or not but the program crashes for me when i go to recorded shows.

my system is a p4 2.8 1gig ram vista sichbo 1.0.1.5

ok not sure how to edit post.

The program never shuts down until you close the error window, the shows will still play just with stupid error window.

Hi Tim, I think this problem might be fixed now, can you try the latest 1.0.1.7 settings update?

Hi

i updated to 1.0.1.10 but still have same issues. I have only tested with previously recorded show.

i will try to record a new show and see how it goes.

The program is awesome, look forward to the updates.
I watch this more than my viewsat.

Just a thought -- do you have any additional media files in your recorded shows folder? .avi's, things of that nature?

After you record a new show, if you rename your old recorded show's file extension (eg ".sichbo-pvr2" or some such) so that it won't try and generate a thumbnail; see if that stops the crash, or if your new recording by itself in the recordings folder exhibits the same behaviour.

If both recordings are causing a crash I'm suspecting it could be a decoder issue. Perhaps select a different preferred video decoder and see if that helps. I think the Vista Microsoft ones work OK, but you might try MainConcept, Nvidia or some other.

Ok that solved it, i did have a movie in .avi format that wasnt recorded in sichbopvr, remove the file and all is well.
